Area A (NorCal)

Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Contra Costa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Glenn, Humboldt, Lassen, Modoc, Mono, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Tuolumne, Yolo, Yuba

Area A is made up of 28 counties, from Alpine County to Yuba County. Our area members travel from Ceres to the Nevada border and to the East Bay all the way up to the Oregon border. Because we are such a large geographical area, we host two student conferences (Woodland & Modesto) and one Adviser conference.

Leadership Levels - You will need to designate your leadership level at the time of registration. The leadership levels are as follows:

  • Leadership Levels Offered
    • Middle School / Junior High
      • Levels I & II only (combined sessions)
  • High School
    • Levels I & II: Combined sessions
    • Levels III & IV: Very limited availability
      • 1–2 students per school ONLY
  • Level I leaders: First year leader actually doing the work independently or cooperatively with others.
  • Level II leaders: 2nd-3rd year leader who serve as managers - coaching, teaching, organizing, coordinating the work of others. This could include secretaries, treasurers, committee chairs, commissioners, first time club officers. Middle school students will only be offered Level I and II training.
  • Level III Leaders: 3rd/4th year Leaders who oversee, coordinate coach, independently handle leadership responsibilities.
  • Level IV Leaders: 4th year leaders - legacy leaders who have been in leadership since the beginning and model teaching younger leaders. They can delegate tasks, yet work as a team with each member of the program

Join us in Ceres for the Central Valley Leadership Conference - Hosted by Area A. Offered are breakout sessions, great leadership lessons, and practical ideas you can take back to your school, to get ready for the next school year. Come prepared to have your students be excited and inspired!

CADA has gone paperless with our registrations! You can register online and register with a credit card or check. Check payment needs to be received weeks prior to the event. NO Pos. For check payment you will select "Sending Check" on the payment options. All attendees must register online before sending payment. 

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing to  two weeks prior to the start date of the event. If you are canceling your entire registration prior to two weeks before the event you will receive a 50% refund. If you are reducing your attendee count by 5 or fewer students/advisors CADA will give a full refund, for those delegates. Any more than 5 attendees will be at the discretion of the event organizer for the amount refunded. There are NO refunds given after the refund cutoff date.
