Area A (NorCal)

Area A is made up of 28 counties, from Alpine County to Yuba County. Our area members travel from Ceres to the Nevada border and to the East Bay all the way up to the Oregon border. Because we are such a large geographical area, we host two student conferences (Woodland & Modesto) and one Adviser conference. Our Woodland Conference Coordinator is Jessica Banchieri - banchierij@luhsd.net, our Advisor Conference Coordinator is Jill Mortensen - jmortensen@cadaboard.org, & our Modesto Conference Coordinator is Linda Cooper lindacooper971@gmail.com. Advisor Conference in Sacramento Area

DATE: November 2, 2024
LOCATION: Monterey Trails High School, Elk Grove, CA
REGISTRATION START TIME: 8:00 AM
TIME: 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM

If you are a new advisor or an experienced advisor looking for new ideas, this conference is the event for you. Register by October 25, you don’t want to miss this event! Walk away with lessons, activity ideas and support. Your registration includes a light breakfast, lunch, workshops, resources, CADA giveaways, a wealth of information and more. Don’t miss out on these opportunities!

CADA has gone paperless with our registrations! You can register online and register with a credit card or check. Check payment needs to be received weeks prior to the event. NO Pos. For check payment you will select "Sending Check" on the payment options. All attendees must register online before sending payment. 

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing to info@cada1.org two weeks prior to the start date of the event. If you are canceling your entire registration prior to two weeks before the event you will receive a 50% refund. If you are reducing your attendee count by 5 or fewer students/advisors CADA will give a full refund, for those delegates. Any more than 5 attendees will be at the discretion of the event organizer for the amount refunded. There are NO refunds given after the refund cutoff date.

Leadership Development Days

Led by facilitator with more than 10,000 hours in leadership training experience, Leadership Development Days provide opportunities for Elementary, Middle School, and High School students to become inspired and contribute to the betterment of their campus and communities. Leadership Development Days utilize experiential learning activities to unite students and develop lifelong skills. The curriculum is centered around learning effective communication, cultural competencies, connecting to others, individualism vs. collectivism, expanding the leadership base, perseverance, and courage to become the best version of yourself. $30 per student is all it takes to bring a day-long, research-based, interactive leadership conference to your student leaders and their peers at local schools. Led by an facilitator with more than 10,000 hours in leadership training experience, Leadership Development Days (LDDs) will inspire middle and high school students to change their campus, community, and the world and teach the practical skills needed to make those changes.
